EVENT – 17th Annual Fall Golf-
A fabulous day of golf with the entire course reserved for the whole day.
Frank Tanana from the Detroit Tigers
will be sharing highlights from his life story
with us during lunch.
PURPOSE –To raise significant ministry funds for the work of The Navigators in the Lansing, Ann Arbor and Metro Detroit areas.
DATE – Monday, September 22nd, 2008 (rain or shine)
WHO CAN PLAY – We are looking for two types of golfers:
1. TOP FLIGHT GOLFERS – Those who’ll recruit others to sponsor them to play in the event
• Each Top Flight Golfer is asked to raise a minimum of $1000.00 from sponsors before
the event. Contact 10-
• You can play golf at the event all day from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm if you’d like,
or come for a round or two in the morning or afternoon if your schedule is tight.
We’ll use a quick play format – twosomes only, individual carts for each golfer,
no practice swings, pick-
• Meet at course at 7:00 am – Start golfing at 7:30 am (rain or shine).
Play until 6:00 pm – Dinner OYO on the way home.
• Lunch buffet at 1:30 pm with Frank Tanana of the Detroit Tigers sharing highlights from his life story while we eat.
• Several fun contests with prizes – longest drive, closest to the pin, etc.
• Special prizes for those who raise more than $1500.00 from sponsors.
2. SECOND FLIGHT GOLFERS – Four-

• Minimum donation of $200.00 for an individual or $700.00 for a foursome who sign up together. Larger donations are appreciated.

• Check in at the clubhouse by 9:00 am – Shotgun start at 9:30 am (rain or shine).
• Lunch buffet at 1:30 pm with Frank Tanana of the Detroit Tigers sharing highlights from his life story while we eat.
SPECIALS
• Golf carts & balls are provided all day for all golfers.
• Coffee ready at 7:00 am with snacks & soft drinks available throughout the day.
